The 10-year US Treasury yield fell -0.52% to 4.208%, while the USD Index slipped -0.38% to 97.8.
Commodity markets mostly went up: WTI oil +1.01% to USD 64.60/bbl, Brent +0.84% to USD 68.6/bbl, CPO -0.87% to MYR 4,449, gold +0.58% to USD 3,417.1/oz, while coal remained flat at USD 111.6/ton.
Asian markets closed mostly higher: Kospi +0.29%, Nikkei +0.73%, Hang Seng -0.81%, Shanghai +1.14%. The JCI rose 0.20% to 7,952.1 with overall net foreign sell of IDR 278.7 billion; IDR -293.6 billion in the regular market, and IDR 14.9 billion in the negotiated market. The largest foreign outflow in the regular market was recorded in WIFI (IDR 195.2 billion), followed by BMRI (IDR 125.5 billion), and AMMN (IDR 110.9 billion). The largest foreign inflow in the regular market was recorded in BBCA (IDR 145.5 billion), followed by BBRI (IDR 97.8 billion), and PSAB (IDR 72.2 billion). Top leading movers were DCII, DSSA, MDKA, while top lagging movers were BREN, AMMN, TPIA.
This morning, Kospi opened higher (+0.41%), while Nikkei fell -0.24%. We expect the JCI to move sideways today, amid mixed sentiment from commodity and regional markets.
